Coaching

Upon joining Arts for All, school districts receive personalized coaching for the development of their long-range arts education policies and plans.

Coaching
The arts education planning process begins with the formation of a Community Arts Team comprised of stakeholders from within the district and the community served: board of education members, district and school administrators, parents, students, teachers, etc.

The Community Arts Team works with Arts for All staff and strategic planning coaches trained through the California Alliance for Arts Education. Districts choose between three levels of coaching on a sliding fee scale subsidized by Arts for All and based on the school district’s student population.

Coaches guide the Community Arts Team through a needs assessment and provide support in strategic planning in key focus areas including standards-based curriculum design, student assessment, professional development, instruction, and methodology.
