Kultura Philippine Folk Arts
Kultura Philippine Folk Arts, ambassadors for the dance and music of the Philippines in L.A. since 1992, offer "Tinikling," an audience favorite in which the performers are challenged to the dance between rhythmically manipulated bamboo poles.
The mission of KULTURA Philippine Folk Arts is to educate the general public about Philippine heritage and propagate the practice of Philippine folk dance and music traditions through its membership. Since 1992, Kultura has contributed greatly to the richness and diversity of arts in California through its ongoing workshops for ages 5-30, performing at various arts and cultural events and festivals.
