Bio: Ampersand is an acoustic duo playing a style of music they describe as ‘City Folk’ which blends pop, folk, and classic jazz melodies to craft a cheerful sound. Their original songs merge classic melodic styles with modern sensibilities to showcase Rachel Garcia’s expressive vocals and Thu Tran’s crisp acoustic arrangements.

Bio: Bill Berry performs his original story-songs about the vagaries of life. His performances are peppered with both humor and a knowing wink towards the inescapable pitfalls of sharing a world with six billion other people. Bill plays guitar in a finger-picking folk style with blues and country influences.
Bio: Catte Adams and Beautiful People create atmospheric electronica influenced music and vocals. They arrange iconic pop tunes and jazz standards with modern stylings.
Bio: The Los Angeles Electric 8 showcases the variety of rich sounds made by electric guitars and vacuum-tube amplifiers. They draw from and adapt a variety of art music including organ works, string arrangements, wind ensembles and Indonesian gamelan pieces. The effect is an exploration of the potential of the electric guitar with nods to the rock characteristics of the instrument.

Bio: Dawn Norfleet’s music is a mélange of traditional jazz, eclectic funk, and vibrant world music. As a flutist, vocalist, composer and arranger, Norfleet has performed in numerous venues across the country, including the Ford Amphitheater and the Grammy Museum’s Clive Davis Auditorium, and has also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Bio: Created in 2006 by Daren Burns, Onibaba synthesizes its sounds by using elements of the Chicago avant-garde, jazz, rock, world, techno, noise and classical. The band includes live video images in their performance to expand the ensemble from sound to sight.

Bio: Educated in composition, orchestration and conducting, Misha Segal is a veteran of the film and music industries with firm roots in classical and jazz music. Helping his mother fight lung cancer inspired a series of piano improvisations called Female, which he's performed for cancer-fighting organizations across the country.
