Bio: Naked Soul performs original compositions by Italian vocalist Marco Missinato. With lyrics in English, Spanish and Italian, the music combines classical and jazz elements with an international flavor.

Bio: Manoochehr Sadeghi, Greg Ellis and Mehrdad Arabifard perform a contemporary Persian classical improvisation created by Manoochehr Sadeghi. This rhythmic and non-rhythmic improvisation is called "Vision." Sadeghi is a recipient of the NEA's National Heritage Fellowship Award, the highest honor bestowed upon folk and traditional artists in the United States.
Instrumentation: Santur (Persian hammered dulcimer), udu (African percussion), and tonbak (Persian hand drum). Additional instruments include violin, oud (lute), Didgeridoo (African tribal wind instrument), daf (Persian percussion), flute, keyboard and guitar.
Bio: As an Argentine country-folk counterpart to the urban tango, "folclore" evokes the pure sounds of a music deeply rooted in South American culture. This trio delivers a fresh and vibrant version of a beautiful collection of traditional Argentine songs.
Bio: Ninja Academy is an instrumental rock duo consisting of Indo-Ninja on bass and Outdo-Ninja on drums. They have performed at almost every club in Los Angeles, including Spaceland, The Echo, Safari Sam’s, The Viper Room, The Roxy, and The Whiskey. In 2008, Ninja Academy was awarded the ‘Hear in L.A.’ prize for original composition, by the City of Los Angeles’ Department of Cultural Affairs and the Center for Cultural Innovation.
Bio: Dawn Norfleet’s music is a mélange of traditional jazz, eclectic funk, and vibrant world music. As a flutist, vocalist, composer and arranger, Norfleet has performed in numerous venues across the country, including the Ford Amphitheater and the Grammy Museum’s Clive Davis Auditorium, and has also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
