Bio: ADAAWE is comprised of seven dynamic women creating rich organic music of the voice and drum. These diverse, skilled percussionists and vocalists come from all over the world, and their music is an international fusion of African music and rhythms, R&B/pop vocals, arresting Gospel vocal harmonies, and funky original creations.

Bio: Eduardo Martinez y Su Palo Cuero is an ensemble that seeks to preserve the musical traditions of Colombian folklore by uniting percussion from the Colombian Caribbean with other musical disciplines such as jazz and funk. Their music explores the influence of indigenous instruments which belong to the Colombian Atlantic as well as those of the African origin.
Bio: The group “Espino” with leader Roger Espinoza, has been selling out venues throughout Southern California with their captivating melodies and fiery Rumba! "Espino" blends Flamenco, Rumba, and Middle Eastern melodies, leaving their audience amazed and always wanting more!
Bio: Nick Kello has worked as a performer, recording artist, composer and educator. He has been involved in composing and performing music for various arts projects and performs live concerts of both traditional Brazilian songs and original compositions. These have included performances at the REDCAT in downtown LA, the Levitt Pavilion in Pasadena, and various shows throughout South America and Europe. His global upbringing has afforded him fluency in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French and has colored his music with a cross-pollination of styles.
Bio: Julio Montero & the Far South Trio is a group of musicians who focus on combining rhythms from Latin, international, and American repertoire. They have performed at the Tango Nights at the Ford Amphitheatre in 2005 and 2006, as well as participated in diverse cultural festivals throughout Southern California.

Bio: La Santa Cecilia exemplifies the modern-day creative hybrid of Latin, Rock and World music. The six-member group combines up-tempo Pan American rhythms like cumbia, bossa nova, rumba, boleros, tango, jazz, rock and klezmer music to create their distinctive sound.
Bio: Meztli, 'New Moon' in the Nahuatl language performs roots music from throughout the Americas, including traditional sones of Mexico and Cuba, Colombian cumbias, Venezuelan Joropo, Brazilian Bossa, Argentine Trova, and even country and jazz. Their ecclectic repertoire is executed with original arrangements that include festive rhythms, rich strings, exotic vocals and interesting harmonies.
Bio: Performing since 1994, Ollin plays an original and eclectic fusion of music that encompasses Latin roots, klezmer riffs and Irish gigues, all done with a rock and roll edge. Ollin, Aztec for movement/earthquakes, comes out of East LA and brings the energy and vibrancy of Chicano music to their performances.
Bio: The Panache Orchestra performs eclectic instrumental music, incorporating styles from Japanese and European folk and classical music to American rock and blues. Their original compositions reinterpret the fundamentals of established musical genres to create new sonic landscapes and musical vernacular.

Bio: Salaam Suite is a collaboration of diverse world music utilizing popular American styles with Arabic and Middle Eastern influences. The eclectic and uplifting music is dedicated to global human rights and dignity for all people. Themes and improvisations flow in and out of the performance incorporating a myriad of styles including Latin, reggae, country, Indian, funk and rock 'n' roll sounds in a collection of upbeat and danceable grooves.

Bio: Declared "a giant of the not-too-distant future" by the Los Angeles Times, composer/bassist/producer Larry Steen leads his world jazz ensemble in an explosive program that fuses authentic Near Eastern, Balkan, West African, Celtic, Caribbean and South American influences with jazz, classical and funk-R&B. With a deep respect for world cultures, the group carefully emulates rhythms and textures as accurately as possible while injecting a harmonic complexity not usually associated with music from these regions.

Bio: Jessica Vautor is a native of Martinique French West Indies. She studied Opera in Paris and jazz in Los Angeles. She has performed in Paris, Martinique, Los Angeles, and New York, with her quartet composed of internationally acclaimed musicians from
France, Venezuela, Brazil, the USA and the Caribbean. The group’s multicultural background allows them to mix jazz standards, French chansons, Brazilian music and Caribbean styles which transport audiences to known and unknown places.
