Bio: Damon Zick and Friends play original jazz compositions emphasizing melody, groove and communication. Their performances reach out to all corners of the jazz world, from straight-ahead swing and ballads to Middle Eastern belly dance and boot-slapping Southern boogaloo. Members have performed and/or recorded with such artists as Benny Carter, Joe Henderson, the Woody Herman Orchestra, and others.
Instrumentation: Saxophone, trombone, piano/keyboards, bass and drums. Optional additions: trumpet and guitar.
