OPEN HOUSE

How to Participate

Arts organizations in Los Angeles present over 150 performances, exhibitions and other cultural events free to the public on the first Saturday in October each year as part of the celebration of National Arts and Humanities Month.

Coordinated by the Los Angeles Arts Commission with support from the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, the Arts Open House is designed to raise awareness of the diversity of cultural resources in the county. For the convenience of patrons, a number of events are clustered around centers of activity, where one can park, walk and take in several programs.
