On April 27, 2018 the Department of Arts and Culture honored the winners of the Yes to ADU Design Competition at East Los Angeles College. The event was attended by other 100 stakeholders.
The arts allow us to reimagine the world around us and find innovative ideas for a range of civic issues. We were pleased to partner with the LA County Homeless Initiative and colleague agencies to facilitate the creation of innovative solutions for our critical housing needs. We look forward to seeing how these designs spark positive change in housing, planning and the meaning of community for Angelenos in the years to come.—Kristin Sakoda, Executive Director of the LA County Department of Arts and Culture
