This position will appeal to individuals who are creative and who are eager to showcase the artistic endeavors of formerly and currently incarcerated individuals. This position will be 15-20 hours a week from roughly September 2025 to February 2026, and we offer flexibility in terms of work schedule and timeline. Interns will work primarily with our small ARC Creatives team as well as with our Communications, Development, Clinical & Wellness, and Member Services Departments to ensure that students are exposed to a variety of aspects of arts programming. We aim to hire 1 intern through this grant program.
Creative thinker; interested in arts projects, programs, and activities. Some experience in visual, musical, and/or written creative arts. Quick thinker with the ability to respond rapidly to external requests. Skilled at speaking in front of others. Excellent writing skills. Open to learning and not afraid to ask questions. Passion for justice, especially as it relates to system-impacted people.
The Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing recidivism (the tendency of formerly incarcerated individuals to re-offend) and supporting formerly incarcerated individuals in successfully reintegrating into society. Founded in 2013 by Scott Budnick, a film producer and criminal justice reform advocate, ARC focuses on helping people transition out of the criminal justice system, advocating for policy reforms, and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth.
