Description

The selected intern will assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns in regards to the NALIP events & programs and will gain valuable skills such as effective communication for non-profits, research, outreach, and organization in a professional setting. Applicants interested in social media management, communications & marketing, events, programming, program development, and community outreach, as well as careers in the film industry or arts nonprofits are encouraged to apply for this position. This position will work approximately 20-30 hours a week from June through October.

Qualifications

The intern should be well-acquainted with: Social Media platforms Knowledge of Canva & graphic creation Create & edit short form videos Writing for communications Specific attention to detail Receiving constructive criticism/notes on produced content Methods of prioritization Effective time management Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, but not required

The National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to discover, promote and inspire Latine content creators and diverse voices across multiple media platforms. For 25 years, NALIP has served the needs of diverse content creators including filmmakers, producers, writers, directors, and industry professionals.
