Description

KCRW is looking for an organized, creative and passionate intern to join our Audience department in Summer 2025 working 40 hours a week from June to August. Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate (2 or 4-year) or community college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County. Recent graduates may apply if they have completed their degree between May 1 - December 1, 2025. The Audience Intern will work with the Member Growth Specialist for 40 hours/week to support the growth of the KCRW audience, including members, through social media and email campaigns, and assist with in-person tabling at KCRW events. They will work closest with the Membership team but they’ll also collaborate with colleagues on the Events, Newsletters, Social Media, App, Art and Development teams. This position is an opportunity to learn about the entire audience user journey and public radio operations at one of the country’s most well-known stations. This internship will be hybrid, taking place in-person at our HQ in Santa Monica and remotely.

Qualifications

- Familiarity with survey tools and tactics  - Familiarity with Google Workplace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.) - Basic Excel and/or Google Sheets experience - Strong writing skills  - Strong interpersonal communication skills (in email, on the phone) - Database/data entry experience preferred
