The CRM, Archives, and Digital Methodology Intern at Los Angeles Performance Practice will play a key role in supporting our digital infrastructure. The intern will assist in managing our CRM system, organizing digital archives, and exploring innovative digital methodologies—including AI tools—to optimize workflows and enhance audience engagement. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic arts environment, providing opportunities to work with contemporary performance projects, gain technical skills, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about the intersection of the arts and digital tools. This position will work approximately 20 hours a week, September through December. 
 

Qualifications

Competitive candidates will have:   • Passion for supporting contemporary dance, music, and/or experimental theater with a working knowledge or interest in Los Angeles-based artists.  • An interest in producing new work and/or working with a multidisciplinary presenter.  • Knowledge of contemporary performance aesthetics, history, and forms.  • Experience and/or strong interest in fundraising, development, and/or marketing for the arts.  • Interest in writing for or about performance.  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Drive, Slides, Calendar).  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work.  • Attention to detail; problem-solving skills.  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.  • Positive attitude; enthusiastically takes initiative.   • Interest in graphic design and/or video editing is a plus.

LAPP is devoted to the production and presentation of contemporary performance by artists whose work advances multi-disciplinary practices.
