Description

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Education-Outreach department, assisting in the coordination and execution of various educational programs, including summer camps and touring productions. The intern will also engage with community partners and schools, helping to implement outreach initiatives and supporting student engagement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for arts education. This internship will require approximately 20 hours per week from the beginning of June through the end of August, including some evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a dynamic education and outreach environment. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines in educational program coordination. • Collaborative team player, especially in fast-paced environments supporting outreach initiatives. • Strong interest in arts education and community engagement. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, and familiarity with tools like Canva for educational materials. • Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with students, educators, and community partners. • Knowledge of musical theatre and its educational uses preferred. • Enrollment in arts education, education administration, or theatre program preferred. • Must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to work in the U.S. • Willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
