Learn with colleagues and gain insight from other Arts Ed Collective school district leaders and learn preparation tips on applying for the California Department of Education’s $44 million competitive grant program called SB 933: Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant (SSAE), which will provide funding for arts education, and student health and safety.
Intended audiences for this info-session are districts who have submitted the letter of intent to apply (due September 12).
NOTE: Districts are not eligible to apply if they have not submitted the letter of intent.
Info-session will Include:
- A review of CAAE’s webinar on applying for the SSAE (SB 933) grant
- Time to discuss the grant opportunity and brainstorm questions as a group
- Live Q&A with retired superintendent, Stan Miller via Skype.
Virtual Participation
For those participants who will be unable to join us in person at the LA County Arts Commission offices, there is opportunity to join the Q&A portion of the conversation virtually. The first 20 people to register via EventBrite will be added to the Skype list and will be able to submit questions for review. Once you have registered, you will receive confirmation of your addition to the Skype list, and additional event information.
