Description

This position is ongoing, the intern can work between 15-30 hours per week from June to February based on the students workload at school and how much time they can dedicate to this internship.
 

Qualifications

-Must currently be enrolled in college and reside in LA county -Must be creative, flexible with workload and in working with a diverse team & community -Intermediate experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suites) or Canva -Intermediate illustration skills -Intermediate layout skills, an eye for style and designs that stands out -Intermediate experience with color schemes and presentation design -Intermediate photography skills, able to operate digital cameras or cell phones -Have good organization skills, must be detail oriented -Able to adapt to changing design or work requests -Excellent communication with teammates and a positive professional attitude -Basic experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word 
 

Background

We have a great opportunity for a creative college student who wants to be a creative individual and expand their creative art skills at United Cambodian Community (UCC).  The Arts Project Specialist will be supervised by the UCC program manager.  The Arts Project Specialist executes various art projects from assisting a class, doing drawing, designing and creating publications, announcements and to presentation for the UCC arts community.
