LBP is looking for a Costume Design and Shop Intern; this intern will assistant costume design our fall Studio Musical alongside our Resident Costume Designer and Shop Manager. While not working on the Studio Season Musical the Costume Design and Shop Intern will be assisting the Costume Shop Manager with building costumes for other productions, actors’ fittings, costume repair and alterations, and organizing costume stock. This position will work approximately 20 hours a week from July through November.
An interest in theatre. Basic sewing, stitching, ironing, and pattern cutting skills. Previous costume work desired but not required. Someone who wants to learn more about the process of theatre production.
