Description

Come join Conundrum Theatre Company as a Marketing and Production intern! This internship will play a vital role in supporting the successful planning, preparation, and execution of our 2025-2026 season of artistic programming and provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of theater production, from behind-the-scenes technical work to administrative tasks, contributing to the cultural enrichment of the local community. We are a community theater based in Burbank that focuses on produce classic, lesser-known musicals with contemporary staging to create an exciting and affordable experience for audience members while giving actors with traditional day jobs the opportunity to pursue their art. We believe people shouldn't have to face the "conundrum" of choosing between their passion and their career. This position will work approximately 20-30 hours a week from June through January.
 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be passionate about musical theater with strong organizational and communication skills and have experience in technical theatre, design, event planning/management, ability to multitask and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient in internet-research & the Google Suite of tools. Applicants with any experience in Stage Management, Social Media/Marketing, Set Design/Construction, Theatrical lighting, or Audio-Visual technologies are a plus.
