Greenway's Producing and Arts Education Intern will work closely with Mohammed Ojarigi, Greenway's Producing Director on a variety of tasks for Greenway Court Theatre's 2025/2026 Season and Greenway Institute for the Arts summer and school year for LAUSD high school students. This includes the producing of the theatre's fall GreenwayREADS professional production, from pre-production through the run of the show, student showcases and a fun summer program. The intern will be attending production meetings, engaging in discussions around marketing strategies for audience and student engagement. This position will also be assisting in Greenway's ongoing events such as the weekly poetry event, Da' Poetry Lounge. This position will work 15-20 hours per week from June to February.
The Producing Intern will possess strong written and oral communication skills and should be comfortable with working with a diversity of people including high school students. He/she/they must be self-motivated and flexible in performing a myriad of tasks. Previous experience in event coordination and/or theatre producing and arts education is a plus and should have a desire to learn the basics of producing and audience engagement. The intern should be fluent with computers (PC/Mac), Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Internet research and online social networking.

The Melrose Trading Post, is a cultural destination for thousands of shoppers every Sunday that funds Greenway Institute for the Arts, a flourishing arts program at Fairfax High School for LAUSD students, and Greenway Court Theatre, a home for works from emerging and established artists.
