The Development and Marketing Intern will support the planning and execution of PCM’s annual fundraising and marketing initiatives. This role will help further expand PCM’s digital content and online presence to strengthen community engagement, and focus on communications around summer programs, fall registration, and the opening of the new Learning Center and Amphitheater. Additionally, the intern will play a key role in alumni engagement efforts, helping to build and maintain connections with PCM’s growing alumni network. This position will work approximately 30 hours per week and is an in-person internship from June through September.

Qualifications

The DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING INTERN should have strong writing skills and should be comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Applicants should also be comfortable creating digital content; some knowledge of graphic design is a plus. The ideal candidate has a passion for the performing arts, with an interest in music education a plus. Intern should be self-motivated and comfortable working individually and in a team environment. They will work well in highly collaborative settings. Administrative experience with corporate email and computer skills is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, Zoom and other virtual formats; familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
