These photographs are set in Bell Gardens at John Anson Ford Park. The city of Bell Gardens is rarely spoken of and rarely represented when Los Angeles is discussed. Yet it has the quintessential essence of what makes Los Angeles prosper. It is a community of resourceful and inspirational Latinos looking to celebrate life. At the height of the pandemic, this park was a safe haven for the youth of Bell Gardens and serves as a reminder of the importance of fair access to green space.
